I don't have any problems with:

  $ uname -sr
  FreeBSD 4.2-STABLE # as of early February
  $ ssh -V
  SSH Version OpenSSH_2.3.0, protocol versions 1.5/2.0.
  Compiled with SSL (0x0090600f).
  $ grep -i identity ~/.ssh/config
    IdentityFile2 ~/.ssh/id_cvs
