Hi folks,
I downloaded CVS server for NT and install it on a computer with WIN2000
Porfessional and use WinCVS 1.2 as a client side in this computer too.When I
begin to use it I met one problem.
I create a repository using 'cvs -d :local:e:\test init'. And I do as the
manual tell that try to checkout the modules file for editing. I use 'cvs
checkout -P CVSROOT/modules (in directory d:\try)' and it is done normally.I
modify the modules file and want to commit it, so I use 'cvs commit -m "no
message" modules (in diretory d:\try\CVSROOT).After I use that the follow is
showed in the message windows:
Checking in modules;
e:\test/CVSROOT/modules,v <-- modules
new revision: 1.2; previous revision :1.1
cvs [commit aborted]: cannot rename file e:\test/CVSROOT/,modules,to
e:\test/CVSROOT/modules,v: File exits
Any comment about it will be appreciated!
Afeng,
Leonard.
