Hello,
I have just build cvs server using cvsd on a debian testing machine.
Everything was working fine until I tried to add email notifications. As
a user (with admin power) I did a cvs co CVSROOT. Then edit the loginfo
file and add:
ALL mail -s %s address@hidden
Then I commit the file loginfo. And after that any file I want to
commit I get:
$ cvs ci -m"comment" foo.bar
/Bla/Bla/Bla.pro,v <-- Bla.pro
new revision: 1.44; previous revision: 1.43
cvs [commit aborted]: received broken pipe signal
As a temporary solution I commented out this faulty line, but nothing
changed, I still get the broken pipe signal message. Is there any way to
go back ? How do I track down this problem.
Thanks,
Mathieu
Ps: I found another related thread:
http://groups-beta.google.com/group/gnu.cvs.help/browse_thread/thread/374d1ef01251a2cd/f63d2c245c6792fa
But all I want is understand why I cannot go back in time...
