Partial checkout access restrictions

Hello,

I have been digging the documentation but I could not find a way to
restrict checkout access to of some repository directories to some users.

I see there is commitinfo control file, but that is for commit access.
It does not restrict checkout access.

I see you can restrict access based on file system permissions, but that
is not a good solution for my problem because all repository files and
directories have the same owner user and group.

Anybody knows of another way to restrict checkout access?
