I'm not familiar with this stuff.  IIRC Emacs uses overlays (info
"(elisp)Overlays") instead of XEmacs' extends.

Maybe ask Karl directly (I don't think he's reading this group) or in
de.comm.software.gnus.  On MGO, he claims that the code is for
(X)Emacs, so he probably will fix the incompatibilities, if possible.

Set `message-dont-reply-to-names' and always use `F'. :-)
