gnus-article-hide-citation and format=flowed messages

here's the setup i'm currently using in order to display articles' 
quoted text:  (setq gnus-cited-lines-visible (cons 4 5)) (add-hook 
'gnus-article-decode-hook 'gnus-article-hide-citation)  when i try 
to display a f=f message, i get uncollapsed quoted text, and i 
need to W W c in order to have the desired view. 

a few more lines, just for testing purposes...
