Not sure if this would work, but I'm picturing a system where initiating a circ
session would launch a pop-up window that would fall back behind the main
window (a pop-under, so folks would have to configure their browsers to
whitelist Koha). With each check-out, the main window would tell the pop-up to
reload. Then at the end of the session the librarian would have to do
something...click a "finished" button or something, that would reload-the
pop-up again with an onload(print and close) command. That at least reduces the
staff interaction to the single "finish" action.
