The following patch makes a happier libtoolize. Essentially it treats
m4dir in an equivalent manner to auxdir, so it too defaults to "." if
MACRO_DIR wasn't set => libtool.m4 and friends do get copied over.
It also gets rid of the old *.m4 files from aclocal/share. I don't know
how portable ${variable#prefix} is - if it isn't, let me know and I'll
modify it.
