Before I apply this, though, a couple of questions/comments: This patch
is against branch-1-5, right? How does the Libtool testsuite fare on a
dragonfly system with this (and what exact system/compiler did you test
with)? Also, could you be bothered to forward-port you patch to
branch-2-0, or, failing that, to run the testsuite given such a port?
(You'd need the other autotools installed.)
Moreover, there's no need to provide patches for generated files (in
your case a patch against libtool.m4 and ltmain.in would suffice).
A ChangeLog entry coming along would round your patch off nicely. :-)
