I would do, if I could figure out how to configure / build libtool.
First, README refers to a file INSTALL, but this file is not part of
the files I get from CVS.
Second, as I try to create the configure file in the root of the
distribution with autoconf, I get several errors:
configure.ac:21: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE
If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow
See the Autoconf documentation
configure.ac:130: error: possibly undefined macro AM_CONDITIONAL
configure.ac:171: error possibly undefined macro AM_PROG_CC_C_O
If I ignore these errors, and run ./configure, configure outputs the
following
error:
configure: error: cannot find sources (libtoolize.in) in . or ..
There is no makefile, so make simply won't run.
How do I resolve these errors?
