Thanks!  That's the bug I was thinking of, but apparently I need
to get some better medication for my memory, messing up the details.

Anyway, the issue here seems slightly different still.  How do I
download the exact source that you, Ross, are building, including
build dependencies (assuming my apt preferences are not identical
to yours)?
