http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=2445@David N.: Just by way of emphasis: for anything involving "all of the files I would need to modify", lily-git and git-cl are the *only* way to go. Between them, you can create a local sandbox, test your work and then when ready, upload a patch set to Rietveld. As part of the process, git (by way of git cl) will identify the files you've changed and create a single package for upload and review. Subsequent changes are applied to the base set, tracked under the same Rietveld issue number, so that the context available for review and discussion.
