Thanks, I put it in. I do have one request: could you also add some
ChangeLog entries for the changes you make?   Otherwise I have to cut
& paste them by hand, I'd rather be lazy :-)

Yes, the way font-style works is not very suitable for
tweaking/overriding. We'll have a think about it.
