If I don't use automaticMelismata, and instead put in blank lyrics for
notes that don't have their own syllable, I get the syllable printed
under its first note, and nothing under the subsequent notes, which
is what I expect.
If I use automaticMelismata, and put slurs over the notes that are
sung on the same syllable, the syllable seems to be left justified
under the group of notes that are sung on it. This is not what I
expect, and certainly isn't common practice in vocal music publishing.
Is this a feature, and if so, is there a way to turn it off? If
automaticMelismata is the default, I would think we would want it to
look the way people expect.
Here's a file that demonstrates the behavior I'm talking about.
