This is one approach. There is a magnificat by Arvo Paert, in which between
all words there is a dashed bar line and sentences are separated from each
other by double (thin) bar line. This kind use of bar lines indicates that
there are no beats and minor beats in bars as in usual sense (4/4), but
each word has its own stress.

For example, the first bar would be (7+6+4+10)/4, a double thin bars
between, the second would be (4+6+6+4+1+5+6+10)/4, and so on. There are no
time signatures in this piece of music, since the text directly dictates
the placement of bar lines.
