Yes, a user.  You'll need a public ssh key, but I guess you already have 
one?  If not, just create one with "ssh-keygen".

I suggest something like csorenson, as "lilypond/" is already part of the 
project name.

Not directly on the frontpage, though: it will be visible as a plusminus 
in front of lilypond.git.
