Vertical position of figured bass

Has anything changed recently, which influences the vertical position of 
figured bass contexts? In particular, in 
http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.11/input/regression/musicxml/collated-files#18a-FiguredBass.ly
the figured bass numbers are way too far away from the staff.

I remember I saw a similar problem with some other object, too, but I can't 
remember, which it was.
