I just noticed that Neil had updated NEWS with syntax changes.
I'd like to see something about transposable fret diagrams in the NEWS file.
Do I write it and submit it to somebody (I seem to recall that Graham
volunteered to head up the 2.12 release process)? Do I write it and push it
to git myself? Or do I stay out of it and let the NEWS writer handle it?
