Stencils have an x-extent and a y-extent. Each extent is a pair, listing
the lowest coordinate and the highest coordinate.

So imagine that there is a rectangle that goes from (-1,-2) to (3,4). This
would have an x-extent of (-1 . 3) and a y-extent of (-2 . 4).

That's on the TODO list. Somebody will eventually get to it. Perhaps I'll
assign that task to a new Frog.

You can get the changes by going to the git repository at
http://git.savannah.gnu.org/gitweb/?p=lilypond.git

Under the tags section, click on the commit link at 2.11.62-1.

Make a note of the date and time of that commit (10 October 2008 23:43:37 in
this case).

Now, go back to the top page of the repository. This time, click on the
commit link for 2.12.1.

Now click on the "tree" link. Browse to the file of interest by clicking on
the directory links. Once you get to the directory containing the file of
interest, click on the history link for that file (e.g.
Documentation/user/tutorial.itely).

Now you go to the last commit that is older than the release date for
2.11.62-1. In this case it's DOC: NR 2.2 Keyboards - change heading.
At that commit, click on the "diff to current" link, and you'll see a patch
that lists all the changes.

Of course, if you're serious about doing translation, you ought to join the
translation team, get git access, and contribute your translations to the
LilyPond project. John Mandereau can provide help in how you'd get started
with that.

Thanks for your contributions to LilyPond,

Carl
