It could also be some sort of corruption in the input layout file that
causes it but is handled gracefully by gs-8.70. I also have the other
error :-
programming error: FT_Get_Glyph_Name () error: invalid argument which
occurs quite frequently in the failed build but not at all in the
successful one.
