worked perfectly in ubuntu 10.04 (not quite lilydev) for me a few
hours ago.

worked with no problems in GUB.

Looks like the error message is the same:
writing: /home/janek/lilypond-git/build/./out-www/xref-maps/usage.de.xref-map
cp -p web.texi out-www/web.texi
cp: cannot stat `web.texi': No such file or directory

... you know, I'm now remembering a nasty bug I saw last
Christmas. Are you using the latest lilydev with all upgrades?
In particular, all kernel upgrades?

The previous version of lilydev had mysterious+magical problems,
when running inside virtualbox, due to a kernel issue. It was
very reproducible, but only inside virtualbox, but it went away in
the latest version of lilydev so I stopped investigating.

Cheers,
- Graham

It appears that Aleksandr has exactly this same problem. I ceased to be troubled by it when I upgraded to the latest version of lilydev. Janek, Aleksandr - could you confirm what system you're getting make doc failing on?
