Wild guess: guile 2.0 is not yet supported.  Certainly not with 2.14.
Try it with guile 1.8 or so.

Seeing as the 11.4 build succeeds I can use guile-1.8.7 but I really need to patch the guile 2 problem to get lilypond 2.14.2 into the forthcoming openSUSE 12.1 which has the problem guile. Unless lilypond 2.16.0 works, I see that 2.15.x is in the rc stage now.
