This was already discussed (a long time ago) on LilyPond mailing lists
IIRC. Should be findable through the archives.

Apparently running LilyPond on a server is not secure.
Another difference of point of view between "users" (here wikipedia
contributors) and "developers" (wikipedia "dev team")?
But there might be some hope:
