Hi,

First, thank you for all the encouragements (some of
them received privately).

What about the original one, I mean, the one

I have the same view of predominantly green text as of predominantly blue text:
black & white is the easiest combination to read, yet the scheme leaves almost
nothing in black.

I would trade the gold for blue.

Having said that, I'm not vetoing either your previous or your current
proposal. I gave my two cents, and I am content.

OK. Since I had a preference for the previous
scheme with blue, I reverted to it. I think
I will stick with this unless more objections
are raised.

I've now sent a request for feedback to the user
list. We'll see how it comes across. (I am slightly
fearful about this method given that debates on presentation
issues can easily become flamewars. I have enough
trust in the lilypond-user community's constructiveness,
though.)

Best, and happy new year to all,
Jean
