Maybe it makes sense to put a line in the installation instructions
about ../configure GUILE_FLAVOR=guile-3.0 for those who have Guile 3.0
and build the latest LilyPond from source, if it is not already there.
It's sort of there already:
https://lilypond.org/doc/v2.23/Documentation/contributor/running-configure#configuration-options
This instructs to run `../configure --help` to see all the available
options and variables. Beyond GUILE_FLAVOR, there are many of them.
