Hi
I tried to use Lilypond several times with complete failure. This is my last attempt and really need you guys' help.

After installing Lilypond on Windows exactly as instructed in the web, I was able to see the Welcome screen with

GNU Lilypond 1.6.0.
.....

..............

The problem started when I tried to test by typing

$  notepad foo.ly

and  after saving foo.ly (with the typing as you suggested) and  I run

ly2dvi -p foo

Here is what I got:

$ ly2div -p foo
Running LilyPond...
GNU LilyPond 1.6.8
warning: can't file the file: 'Quoc'
warning: can't file the file: 'Toan'
warning: can't file the file: '-I'
warning: can't file the file: '/home/Nguyen'
warning: can't file the file: 'Quoc'
warning: can't file the file: '-I'

and a series of similar warning like that

and it ends with

warning: no LilyPond output found for 'foo'
Running Latex...
Running dvips...
