I have an alternative suggestion for a relative mode.
f gives the f closest to the previous note - just like in relative mode.
f' gives the first f above the previous note.
f'' gives the second f above the prevous note.
f, gives the first f below the previous note.
So »c d e d c« and »c d' e' d, c,« would mean the same thing.
Of course the old relative mode should stay (it's cleaner) but the new
one could be added as an alternative.
What do you think?
It should be doable to add a scheme function that converts from absolute
to "new relative". If the system catches on the the scheme function
could be replaced with a "real" c++ function.
