I'm using my OrchestralLily-generated scores (ca.30 ly and tex files per 
project) with Kate (KDE's advanced text editor). I store each project as a 
session, so I have all files easily available.

To compile, I use custom make files in a shell (Alt+Tab sitching and focus 
follows mouse is extremely useful).

To view the scores I use Okular, which automatically reloads changed files and 
keeps the view position unchanged.
