This reminds me how much I miss BeOS. My friend from university got me hooked on it. It was so slick compared to other environments. I especially liked the "feature" where you could change the theme to Amiga Workbench. After all, what could be better than white text on a blue background with black and orange accents? :)

Years ago, someone from Haiku contacted me to contribute my Conway's Game of Life screensaver I had on BeBits. While it was hardly anything worth keeping around, I have to commend the Haiku team for having the dedication to preserve what they could from the BeOS world. I might just have to spin up a VM now.
