Hi Ken,

I'd argue that being a professional composer does not imply being versed in 
musical typesetting (similar to how most professional writers do know little 
about typesetting).

In fact I'd say many professional composers want to spend their time composing 
and getting their compositions performed, not so much worrying about the 
intricacies of musical typesetting.

By the way: I'd just slightly increase the height-limit for the final slur in 
the bottom staff. Such kind slurs tend to be a bit tight and flat with the 
default of (I believe) 2.5.
