Don't confuse SIP ACK with TCP ACK. Of course UDP does not use ACK but SIP is
a level above the transport. SIP can use UDP or TCP and others as well for
transport. ACK is a SIP method just as INVITE, BYE, CANCEL, etc.
If the callee does not receive the ACK it will drop the call.
