Yeah. The problem, though, is that it's not portable (unless it's
changed since last I looked). I had to write emacs 18.something
(un)dumper for the funny svr3 system I was using at the time. It was
not fun. (Well, it was, but maintenance-wise this approach would be a
big burden).
