Unfortunately, this shouldn't happen but tends to happen.  :-)

The solution I proposed in one of this emails is not very satisfactory
either because while it solves your problem, it sometimes unnecessarily
wastes too much room at the bottom of pages.

Maybe Jeff has a better idea?
