Hi Lucas,Thanks for the heads-up. As things get updates (in the distro world) we do run into things like this. Once HH is out and if I have time I'll look for a "proper" fix. We probably don't need to force it, but override a macro. If in the mean time someone else can look into fix that, it would help me out. For example, if you look at rpm-fs right now you'll see:
%Install export NO_BRP_STALE_LINK_ERROR=yesThis was to avoid a similar type of issue on a previous update to the distro's rpm IIRC. Normally there are overrides that can be used.

On mine (lenny based) I have:In fact the problem was the RPM version, using Karmic, or debian testing, the rpm es 4.7 and adds a patch that fails when trying to install. I believe that there is a --force option. I'm now using the Hardy version and works fine. Thank you! Lucas
