First of all you have to alter the Makefile, either in the root directory or in 
your arch makefile. Some stuff doesn't compile so well with -O0. (or, at least, 
that used to be the case)  In particular, I seem to recall having to manually 
set the mm stuff to compile with O2.
Of course, all those changes may be lost, depending on how you run ltib, so if 
you want them persistent, make a patch and add it to your .spec file.
