Hi Rob,

Where you can select and build a gcc for the target in LTIB, it can only
build the same version as the one you're using on the host as the
cross-compiler.

There are a number of reasons including: compatibility of components,
tracking toolchain type (multilibs can't build Canadian Cross) and
keeping things simple/understandable.

If you need a different toolchain on the target, you'll have to build by
hand on the target.  If you can find a toolchain in LTIB that fits the
bill, then the corresponding .src.rpm installed on the target may help?
