My perfomance results:
Win32 using WinPCap FTP-Transfer with a client on the same machine Celeron
333:
Debug Build: 4-6 KB/s
Release Build (everything in debug.h set to 0): 1,25 MB/s
DOS/DJGPP with packet driver in realmode the stack in protected mode
386DX40:
Debug Build: 4-6 KB/s
Release Build: 160 KB/s
Route: 100MBit/s Client -> Switch -> Router -> 10MBit/s Network card BNC ->
386DX40
This is the fastest transfer rate I saw till now under DOS.

Conclusion:
Be sure to turn of debugging for high performance. The lwipopts.h settings
also are very important.
