Oh, just another hint: I wouldn't use the version of lwIP in the link 
you sent us (v0.7.1), it's quite old (26-Feb-2004).
The newest version (just released one week ago) is 1.3.0 and it has many 
many bugs fixed since v0.7.1.

You could use v0.7.1 to start working with lwIP, but I would ship a 
product based on this version!
