si-wijesekera falls back to pre-edit when STS is not available. So it is
not a valid STS test.

Try si-phonetic-dynamic.mim, it doesn't fallback to pre-edit.

I did a quick test on Debian Testing with LibreOffice 4.0.0 and STS does
not work.

Tried si-phonetic-dynamic, and the same problem occurs with it as well. Even more troublesome is the fact that the Gnome-3.6 lock screen shows the same behavior.

Is there any particular reason behind LibreOffice not supporting STS? Also, is a pre-edit fallback the only way to resolve this issue?
