monotone-viz has an interesting solution here -- if there's an edge
that leaves the current branch, it shows a dotted line, and just the
first revision off the edge, so you can see some context.  Maybe it'd
be neat if one could click on such a thing and switch over to that
branch?

How are you getting the ancestry information out for graphing, by the
way?
