It seems largely irrelevant to me, too.
Ignoring the implementation, though (since anyone could write a new
one easily), does the functionality seem a sensible addition?
Or would it be better to somehow roll it up to show the values of any
certs with small values? But then for some cases you'd want an output
something like "ls tags" (you'd want that for an imagined "ls
testresults", I guess).
And maybe viewmtn would want to use them inside "monotone stdio", so
maybe this case would be better as "monotone automate list authors",
but then you'd want the output to be basic_io, and that's not so
shell-friendly?
Maybe it wants to be targeted at completion. Something like
"monotone automate complete authors <PATTERN>", and we could also add
"monotone automate complete dates <PATTERN>", "complete files <REVID>
<PATTERN>", and so on?
