Re: [Monotone-devel] Tailor

Me thinks the following error message has room for improvement:

# mtn rename statistics statistics/squid
mtn: skipping statistics, already accounted for in workspace
mtn: fatal: std::logic_error: roster.cc:188: invariant 'fetching nonexistent
entry from children' violated
mtn: this is almost certainly a bug in monotone.
mtn: please send this error message, the output of 'mtn --full-version',
mtn: and a description of what you were doing to address@hidden
mtn: wrote debugging log to /home/bam/monotone/junk/_MTN/debug
mtn: if reporting a bug, please include this file

Yes, what I was doing is seriously brain-dead, but monotone shouldn't
be displaying things like "this is almost certainly a bug in monotone"
either.

monotone 0.30 (base revision: 843924a5e7fd46b3fa2c531eb28ae597b6172aed)
Running on          : Linux 2.6.17-2-powerpc #1 Wed Sep 13 16:30:39 CEST 2006
ppc
C++ compiler        : GNU C++ version 4.1.2 20060901 (prerelease) (Debian
4.1.1-13)
C++ standard library: GNU libstdc++ version 20060901
Boost version       : 1_33_1
Changes since base revision:
unknown

I think it should be obvious what went wrong already, but if anybody
really does want a copy of the debug file, then please let me know.
