It seems to behave correctly, but very slowly.
update seems slow.
And refresh_inodeprints probably suggests the problem.
Doing "strace -estat64 mtn refresh_inodeprints" shows it doing a stat
of every file four times, and then (later) once again, just to be
sure. Apart from directories, which appear only to be checked twice.
