[Kelly F. Hickel] I searched all the headers that come with vs 2005, and 
there's no declaration for the posix functions. Interestingly, there is one in 
io.h that comes with the "Microsoft Platform SDK for Windows Server 2003 R2".  
That's the SDK that you typically use with VS Express, for example.

Quite annoying....
