I passed this along to lapo and then thought I should send it to the
list as well. This script at http://download.gna.org/ude/diffc-0.3 does
quite a nice job of coloring diffs for anyone who hasn't seen it. In
particular it colors the changed words in a line rather than simply
showing added/deleted lines in green and read.
