Follow-up Comment #7, bug #32120 (project octave):
I'm not surprised. This seems to be specific to certain BLAS implementations.
I'm using vecLib on the Mac at the moment.
There's quite a bit of configure cruft devoted to testing the correctness of
ZDOTU, which is the offending function here, and other BLAS functions.
