Follow-up Comment #31, bug #32120 (project octave):

Even if I bypass the "abort" errors, "sdot" still fails the configure test. To
fix this, you need to add "sdot_" to LAPACK_LIST(_). (Yes,  I know that it's
not LAPACK, but that list does what we want :-))

I'm coming around to the idea that this dynamic wrapper is the best approach,
because I've noticed that ARPACK calls suffer as well from the BLAS issue. It
seems to me this fixes it all around. Does this wrapper handle the needs of
these other libraries as well, or just liboctave?
