Follow-up Comment #8, bug #42176 (project octave): Looking at the git repository, the change happened very recently in 10/2014. http://git.savannah.gnu.org/gitweb/?p=autoconf-archive.git;a=history;f=m4/ax_openmp.m4 The AC_PREREQ line was changed to add m4 quoting around the version number and at the same time the version number was changed.
