Update of bug #44581 (project octave): Status: None => Fixed Open/Closed: Open => Closed Operating System: Microsoft Windows => Any Summary: mxe-octave __run_test__ failure with __w2mpth__ => __run_test__ / make check failure with __w2mpth__ _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #6: @Mike: no discussion there, I agree. I just forgot to delete the tests (it's that simple :-) ). Both tar.m and unpack.m only contain one test that calls tar.exe twice. I'm not sure all path options are fully explored there. An alternative I considered initially is to make w2mpth.m a regular function in scripts/miscellaneous/ - but not just before 4.0.0 release. The best thing to do at this point is to simply to comment out the tests. On Linux I saw a FAIL due to __w2mpth__ while running "make check"; the FAIL is due to the ispc() stanza. So there's another reason to eliminate the tests: to avoid__w2mpth__ being run in the first place by test.m and friends. Adapted title & operating system; Pushed fix (http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/0f2cbcb14a21) Closing report _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?44581> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
