Follow-up Comment #5, bug #44751 (project octave):

It freezes even when the first command is exit(). See this as well:


~/octave/.build> ./run-octave --no-gui --eval exit
^C^C^Cpanic: Interrupt -- stopping myself...
attempting to save variables to 'octave-workspace'...
save to 'octave-workspace' complete

~/octave/.build>
